General Supervision, Public Health Permits for Hygienists and Dental Assistant Coronal Polishing Information and Applications

The rules concerning general supervision and public health practice permits for dental hygienists were effective July 1, 2009. This rule also allows for the performance of supragingival and coronal polishing by trained dental assistants.
